And I’m so happy, thank you so much Penny.
Angi, what did the 24 hour test show? Is the medication helping?
Over here every thing is just normal. I’m counting day’s

I dunno…I might just see a little spark. I think in about two weeks that spark will get bigger. Or so I hope!
Angi, so do tell…what did the 24 hour test show? Is the medication helping?
I had some serious anxiety issues last week. Did I mention that school is really tough this quarter?
I went and took my blood pressure at the machine and it read 113/64 then 109/59 and the last time I tried 111/67. I guess I can’t say I have high blood pressure, right?
I did pick up running again. Not with as much vigore as before, but I did manage 11 miles last week…haha, that’s nothing compared to my 30 + mile weeks before, but it’s better than 0, right? Right???
Ok, time to get back to work. I hope everyone is well.

I have high blood pressure… !
Yep.. after my gynacologist kept telling me that it was high (“you’re probably just a little excited now!”) for the past .. oh I don’t know… years… and now the doc at work told me also.. I went to my doctor. And yes.. I have high blood pressure. For now she gave me pills (’cause she didn’t want me to go on and wait until all the tests are finished). I will go in for more tests this thursday (one of the tests will be a blood pressure-thingy to wear for 24 hours…). I am taking half a pill right now in the mornings.. but she said, that that will prolly not be enough.. oh well… we’ll see.
Not much happening here. Weather is icky and cold. Jan works long hours and usually just has Sunday off.
I am finding all kinds of excuses not to exercise (too cold, too wet, too crowded (the pool))..
Everyone take care!

I am inendated with school work. I am burried under tons of books and come up long enough to get air. At least that is what it feels like.
At work I am super busy now that we have a lot more people in my group (my group size trippled). Last weekend I spent just about every waking hour in front of a school book and I am continuing this process during the week as well. It is not fun.
My running has suffered, but I will pick that back up, hopefully after the quarter is over (Dec 23rd). Tori said that finishing this quarter will be like a birthday present for me and I said yes it will be!
Well, I just wanted to wave at everyone real quick and let you know I am thinking about you all.

I showed your picture to everyone willing to look…ok, ok, not really, but I did show it around like a proud mama…haha…You look very professional in that picture. It all flows together so well, your hair, earrings, glasses, and the blouse. Very, very nice! My friend Tom wanted to know if you were related to the mailman, because you didn’t look anything like me. *pout* I kicked him!
Brian said I could look like that too, all I had to do to my hair what you did to yours. SOOO….You need to come over here to show me your hair(y) tricks!
Nothing new to report here. I registered for my last set of classes at Columbus State today. If everything goes well, I’ll be graduating March 20th. I am sooo excited and we’ll have a little party. You gals are welcome to attend!
Of course I have to make it through this set of classes first, urgh. Then through the next set *double urgh*, but I’ll get there, eventually lol
Well, I better get going. I just wanted to comment in length on my pretty sister.

P.s.: Mutti, I found your bracelet. It had fallen between the kitchen island and the water bottles. I will send it off as soon as I get the chance. (Going with my luck, you might not get it until you come over again next year

Not much, since I am not doing much lately.
Penny, I am so proud of you, with your running, school etc. Great work! Hope the second grade was just as good!
Here, things are pretty much calmed down. We have running warm water in the kitchen now. But the dishwasher has given up, the microwave blew the other day (still works, but I don’t trust it – the inside has a big crack in it), the oven is acting funny (you turn one burner on 1 and it fires up all the way, when you turn on a second burner, they take turns being hot – funny), the fridge is always wet… so to sum it up, I think all of our kitchen appliances will not survive the move in the long run… Oh well.. my first priority is a dishwasher. Doing dishes by hand sucks major time!
It has gotten really cold here. But aside from that one day of snow it’s just been freezing. I’ve had to scrape the windows on my car the last couple of days.
Today is Thursday… and after a long week of work, it’s finally weekend for me
I can really get used to this three-day work-week. On the other hand- mondays everyone is stumbling through the mess on their desks (which pile up during the days, you’re not there), tuesdays are ok, by wednesday things are smooth again. Then you pack up to go home, knowing you won’t be back ’til monday and the whole thing starts again..
But it could be worse… I could be out of a job. And I really like my job – so.. I am not complaining.. Just stating
Oh… I just remembered.. I had a picture taken of me at work.. It was a fun session.. (almost) Everyone has a pic of themselves in the Intranet at work. So I wanted mine in there, too.. It looks like a snapshot (that was the point), but it took quite a while to get it right
Here it is :

Perfection, though it looks so easy, is sometimes hard work

The last week was very very busy. I had two exams and some major homework assignments due. On top of that I pulled my hamstring on (last) Monday and the race was that following Sunday (yesterday). Urgh.
But I made it through the week. Got an A on one of the tests and hope for a C or better on the other one and my homework assignments. Keep your fingers crossed!
I ran the 1/2 marathon yesterday. It was very, very cold out. 34 degrees! But I had planned accordingly and wasn’t too cold. After mile four my hamstring started to hurt and after mile 5 I was ready to quit. One of the MiTers that I had run with before made me run with her and her friends. That made me realize that my leg wasn’t getting any worse and ran from mile to mile. I finished 6 minutes behind my PR (personal record), but I got my medal.
And that’s all that matters, right?
No running for me for a week and then I’ll start back up with the bike, then move to the ellipitical rider. Hopefully in two weeks I’ll be able to go back out and run a couple of miles. The pain is not too bad as long as I don’t walk too much, the more I walk, the tighter the hamstring gets.
Well, that’s all for now. I hope everyone has a great week. HEAL

Winter is back
. It’s snowing in Munich and let me tell ya, I don’t like it at all.
One good thing is, that it melts the moment it hit the ground, because it’s is still warm enough.
I would like to have the summer back.
I wish you all a nice and sunny day.
